After a 2024 State Championship for the Roughneck Band, it's hard to believe that the 2025 marching season is just around the corner! We are excited to welcome everyone back for Summer Band rehearsals in just over 3 weeks. We have another great show lined up and look forward to seeing everyone again!
**First...any students who did not complete a physical when it was offered at the school back in May will need to do so in order to participate in marching band or athletics. If you need a physical form to take with you to your doctor, we have some in the band office.** In the "IMPORTANT INFO" section of this webpage, you will find links to to our Summer Letter, the 2025/2026 Roughneck Band Calendar (tabs on the bottom in "month view" and "list view" for your convenience), the Roughneck Band Handbook, and our Facebook page. The calendar link is LIVE, meaning that any changes will be updated in "real time". Of course, dates and times are subject to change, and we will do our best to give as much advance notice as possible. All of these documents are also available in student emails and the SportsYou app, and we hope to send out the usual hard copy of the Summer Letter this week. You will find the Summer Band schedule in both the Summer Letter and the band calendar. Please note that Leadership, Mallet/Synth players, and Color Guard will begin on Wednesday, July 30th, and 8th grade and full band rehearsals begin on Thursday, July 31st. Mallet/Synth players should check school email for their assignments, as well as some clarifications about their specific Summer Band expectations. **We very much encourage you to sign up for SportsYou! This will enable you to have the band calendar and the athletic calendars all in one place, AND you will receive real-time updates (as necessary) throughout the school year.
